MASALA RED CHILLI POWDER

Ingredients:

Red chilli powder (pachi karam)-1kg
salt -1/4 cup
Turmeric -1 tbsp
coriander seeds (dhaniyalu )-1/2kg
cumin seeds (jilakarra) -100gr
Fenugreek (mentulu or methi) -50gr
Garlic (vellulli) -4(large)



How to make:

1.Heat one pan roast coriander,cumin ,fenugreek seeds toss them on medium heat till they turn brown....approx 10mts.Remove from pan and keep aside.

2.Now add above roasted ingredients and garlic grind to make a powder(remember all the ingredients should be cool before grinding).Mix it with red chilli powder with salt and store in an air tight container.

3.Andhra famous red chilli powder used in all veg and non-veg curries instead of red chilli powder to increase curry taste.

I have been hearing about this powder from my telugu friend.Just prepared ...and added in curry instead of adding normal red chillipowder ...delicious...
